Bury Congress update

There are just over five weeks to go before the Bury St Edmunds Congress takes place at the Apex!

The photo below shows the amazing playing area, surely one of the best venues for a weekend chess congress in the whole of the UK.   The Apex is situated in the centre of the town, with shops and restaurants just a few metres away.

Enries are coming in faster than at any time in the previous 15 years that Bob Jones has organised this event.   They currently stand at 46.   In 2010, when a record 173 players competed, the number of entrants at this stage (37 days to go) was only 28.
