4NCL Online: Season 2 Commences

4NCL Season 2 kicked-off on tuesday 25th August. This season Anglia Avengers are fielding 3 teams.

Our 1st team (Division 1) lost 1.5-2.5 to Gonzaga A. A respectable result, given that we were out-graded by 80+ FIDE pts per board.

Our 2nd team (Division 2), out-graded by 100+ per board, lost 0.5-3.5 to Streatham A.

The bright spot of the evening was our 3rd team’s 3-1 victory over Camborne Pendarves, in the newly created 6th Division.

Congratulations to Bob Stephens & William Gu for wins in their debut games for Anglia Avengers. And to Alonso Paez for his first win for the squad.
