Team Suffolk Wants You

Team Suffolk represents our county in chess.com’s UK & Ireland County Championship. That event is a “Daily” chess league tournament (the site’s equivalent of correspondence chess), in which you have three days to respond to each of your opponents moves.

Sadly, Team Suffolk is now condemned to relegation from Division 2 to Division 3 of the competition. The club admins are keen to reverse this direction of travel as soon as possible and are looking for new recruits to help make this happen.

Currently the squad lacks both size and strength, the latter being indicated by the fact that I often play on board 1.

Though strong players are of course welcome, at least as important is having players who reliably join matches and complete their games without forfeiting on time.
